Assassin's Creed Valhalla will soon receive a new gameplay mode - Mastery Challenge. It will be a part of the upcoming free update, which will hit the PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S on June 15. A short trailer has been released to mark the occasion, available below.

The Mastery Challenge mode will begin with the fall of a meteorite near Eivor's settlement. After this event, the old woman Hildiran will appear in the village, who will offer us a series of challenges, enabling us to improve our skills in areas such as stealth, melee, and ranged combat. For completing the trials we'll receive new abilities and items, impossible to get in any other way.

Assassin's Creed Valhalla launched on November 10. Since then, the game is systematically expanded and receives additions and free updates.
