Batman: Court of Owls Might be the New Title From WB Games Montreal [Updated]

If you are waiting for a new game from the Arkham series from WB Games Montreal, you can be sure that it is now in the pipeline. This was confirmed by a short material on the occasion of the 80th birthday of Batman, as well as a comment from Scott Snyder, the creator of the comic book Court of Owls.

New Batman game is on the way.

Update

WB Games Montreal released another Twitter post yesterday. This time with the note "Capture the Knight". Fans have noticed that the symbols appearing in the short material are those of Court of Owls and League of Shadows.

Original message

Batman Day is celebrated every year on the third Saturday of September, but this year's event was exceptional, as we celebrated the 80th birthday of the hero. Of course, most of the fans could be seen on the streets of New York (because Gotham is modeled on it), but the symbols of one of the most popular superheroes in history were also visible on the walls of buildings in Rome, London, Berlin and Montreal. And let's stop there for a moment, because from Montreal comes a certain studio, which has something to do with "Bats". WB Games Montreal joined the celebration by posting a short video with a bat symbol on Twitter. We recommend you watch carefully and do not blink.

As you can see, apart from the symbol displayed on the wall of the building, some unidentified characters appear on the video. The players immediately began to wonder if these images had anything to do with the game, which has been talked about for some time now. It would be the production from the creators of Batman: Arkham Origins, released 6 years ago. Reports revealed that the main antagonists would be the members of the Court of Owls. This faction appeared in the comic book Batman: Court of Owls by Scott Snyder. Incidentally, the same Scott Snyder commented on the WB Games Montreal post as follows: "Wait for it." Of course, he quickly removed the tweet, but the DSOGaming editorial team took a screenshot.

It is safe to assume that the studio is actually working on a new game from the Arkham series. The question isn't now if, but when. So far, it's hard to predict anything. Previous parts of the series were launch between June and November - it is not easy to determine the expected release date based on these data. However, I would not be offended if the title was announced before the end of this year and published at the end of the next holidays. By the way, if you're wondering about symbols, one Twitter user has prepared screens of all 4 characters.

Batman: Arkham Origins launched on October 25, 2013. The title went to PC, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Nintendo Wii U.
