Battlefield 7 is taking shape. Leaks showing a new map and the moment when a helicopter was shot down look impressive
A gameplay fragment from Battlefield 7 has leaked online, showcasing a new map. Most impressive, however, is the moment when the helicopter is destroyed.

The latest Battlefield continues to leak due to ongoing Battlefield Labs tests. In this way, we learned, among other things, about the impressive environmental destruction, the presence of a controversial system, and a feature borrowed from BF4. This time, we received a preview of the next element.
New map and exploding helicopter
In the latest update of Battlefield 7 tests, DICE added a new map to the game called "Capstone." So, it didn't take long for videos from that location to start popping up online; you can find them on Reddit.
The over one-minute video material presents pure gameplay in an area surrounded by high, snow-covered mountains. We can see a lot of vehicles, some infantry action, buildings being destroyed, and even a knife killing. However, the moment when the player shoots down the helicopter with an RPG particularly stands out.
This looks great, and the sight of a machine falling with momentum and exploding on the rocks is impressive. All the more so when we consider that Battlefield 7 is still in pre-alpha version. This means that a lot can still change for the better before the release. Players seem to be mostly satisfied.
Jesus Christ, this looks incredible. Can't wait for this.
I know it's pre-alpha, but it looks very good.
This map is great. I love its vibe.
The new Battlefield doesn't yet have a release date, but according to EA, the game will launch before April 1, 2026. Perhaps we will learn more in June, during Summer Game Fest.
