Two Teams are to Work on Battlefield 7's Campaign

Electronic Arts has decided not to skimp on human resources in the development of the new Battlefield's story campaign. To this end, a new team will be formed to take care of it.

EA DICE is to build a new team, which will help develop the single-player campaign in the upcoming Battlefield game - such information was reported by Christopher Dring from GamesIndustry.biz.

DICE, as one of the studios working on Battlefield, was originally supposed to be working on the multiplayer mode in the upcoming Battlefield 7 (working title). The single-player campaign is the responsibility of Ridgeline Games, a studio headed by Marcus Letho, whose portfolio includes work on Halo.

It turns out that Electronic Arts is to engage yet another team, to co-create the single-player campaign in the possible sequel.

So far, little is known about work on the upcoming installment of the shooter series. Last year there were rumors about the latest installment of BF, is to debut only in 2024 - this was supposed to be due to intensive work on improving Battlefield 2042, which turned out to be one of the weakest installments of the series.

It is possible that, in fact, capacity at EA is now directed to work on Battlefield 7; we recently reported the cancellation of several projects from the company, including Battlefield Mobile.
