Carpathia Mountains RPG Beast Launches in Early Access Soon

We have learned the Early Access release date of the Polish RPG Beast on Steam. The journey to the dark Carpathian Mountains will begin next week.

Warsaw-based studio False Prophet has released a new trailer for Beast, a tactical RPG set in a fantasy version of the dark Middle Ages. It was also announced that the game will debut in early access on October 25, 2023.

The game will be available in Steam's Early Access. The developers anticipate that the release of version 1.0 will take place next year.

Early Access version of Beast will next week and is expected to include 20 missions, two playable heroes, seven enemy classes, 11 enemy types and 40 weapons.

In addition, system requirements have been made available on the game's Steam page, although only the minimum requirements have been revealed for now.

Beast - minimum requirements for PC

  1. Processor: AMD Ryzen 3 3100 / Intel Core i5-9400F or better.
  2. Graphics card: AMD Radeon RX 560 / Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050 or better.
  3. DirectX version: 11
  4. RAM: 16 GB
  5. Disk space: 50 GB
  6. Operating System: Windows 10 64-bit

Importantly, the game has been tested on Steam Deck and is expected to run well on this device.

Recall that the action of Beast will take place in the Carpathian Mountains. The gameplay will focus on turn-based skirmishes on maps without grid.

The Early Access release is expected to be cheaper than 1.0, and in addition, as a thank you for buying the early version, players will receive a digital artbook, soundtrack, wallpaper set and unique skins for weapons and equipment as part of the so-called Loyal Edition.
