Best Installments of Project Cars Pulled From Sale; Hunt for Deals

The excellent racing games Project CARS and Project CARS 2 will soon disappear from sale. Iit's worth taking advantage of deals to buy them while it's still possible.

We have bad news for fans of Project CARS. Slightly Mad Studios has announced its intention to withdraw the first two installments from distribution.

  1. Sale of Project CARS will be discontinued on October 3, 2022.
  2. In the case of Project CARS 2 this will happen even earlier, as early as September 21.
  3. The reason is the fact that licenses for cars and tracks are coming to an end, and the studio does not see the point in renewing them for old games.

The decision is all the sadder because both games are, in the popular opinion, much better than the latest installments, i.e. Project CARS 3. On Metacritic, it has an average rating of 68% for the PC version. In the case of the first part it is 83%, and the sequel boasts a score of 84%.

So if you like racing simulators, it's worth acquiring these games before they disappear from the market. On Steam there is currently ongoing deal, enabling you to buy Project Cars 70% cheaper than the standard price. All DLCs has also been heavily discounted. Also on PlayStation Store, the price of the game has been significantly reduced - it can be purchased around 60% cheaper.

The Xbox One edition is not being discounter right now. On the other hand Project Cars 2 has been discounted on Microsoft's console and costs there only $5.99. The price of the sequel, on the other hand, has not been reduced on Steam and on PlayStation Store.
