We have learned the system requirements of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III for beta testing. The developers also released a trailer extolling the features of the PC version.
Open beta of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III, the latest installment in the most popular series of first-person shooters, will launch today on all platforms. In preparation for the tests, the developers have finally revealed the game's system requirements. Note that they apply only to the beta, so the full version may have slightly different specs (especially with regard to the amount of disk space needed).
As you can see, requirements are only slightly higher than those for last year's Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II. This is not a surprise, as both games were built on the same technological foundations. On top of that, the developers still haven't abandoned the previous generation of consoles, namely PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The system requirements of the series will probably only go up sharply when these old platforms are abandoned.
For more information on the beta test of CoD: MW3 we refer you to our recent article on the subject.
The developers have also released a new trailer that extols the features of the PC version of the game, such as the ability to play in 4K, support for ultra-wide monitors, DLSS 3 and Reflex technology support, as well as a wide range of configuration options (including the ability to change FoV, or field of view width).
Recall that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III is heading for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S. The title will debut on November 10.
