During the press presentation of Total War: Warhammer held recently, Creative Assembly said that they would be willing to make a sequel to Alien: Isolation.

Last week Creative Assembly held a press presentation for a strategic map in Total War: Warhammer so we used this opportunity to ask some questions about other projects of the developer. One of them concerned Alien: Isolation (a first person horror game based on classic Ridley Scott’s movie) and its eventual successor. It turned out that the whole team responsible for that title was moved to work on Total War: Warhammer, but Creative Assembly is still willing to make another game in this science-fiction universe.
„We have nothing like that in plans right now, but we would love to make another one [Alien]” – said Petr Tomicek, programmer at Creative Assembly. Unfortunately, a decision in this matter belongs to SEGA (the owner of the studio) and it probably isn’t interested in creating a sequel, as sales results of Alien: Isolation were pretty weak (only 2 million copies were sold during the six months period after the release). But who knows, perhaps there is still hope?
