Cult of the Lamb's Major Upgrade Will Make Combat More Impressive

Cult of the Lamb will soon receive an update that will expand the combat system and refresh boss battles.

Cult of the Lamb, one of the nicest surprises of last year, will soon get an update with new content. For now, it is not known exactly when this patch will debut. Instead, we know what it will offer.

  1. Each type of weapon will receive a new heavy attack, activated by holding down the punch key. With a sword, for example, we will be able to perform a powerful sweep, which is expected to be able to knock a group of enemies back. In the case of the dagger, on the other hand, a rain of such weapons will fall from the sky.
  2. We can also expect reworked boss battles, which will give a good reason to fight them again.
  3. The patch will also introduce many changes regarding accessibility and difficulty levels, as well as offer quite a few novelties to make the gameplay more enjoyable. Here, however, we will have to wait a while for the details.

A smaller update, fixing bugs, should be released in the coming days. After its release, the whole team will fully focus on the patch with new content.

It is worth mentioning that currently Cult of the Lamb can be bought cheaper as part of the winter sale on Steam. The game has been discounted by 25%. The offer will last until January 5.

Cult of the Lamb was released last August on PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch.

The game received a very warm reception. On OpenCritic, the title has an average rating of 84%, while on Steam 93% of user reviews praise Cult of the Lamb, which is categorized as a "very positive" reception.
