Only eighteen days left until the release of Phantom Liberty, the first story expansion for Cyberpunk 2077. Yesterday, studio CD Projekt Red released a fresh gameplay, enabling us to see the new weapons and skills in action. Today, in turn, we learned the expansion's size.

It turns out that Phantom Liberty will be a really sizable expansion. According to the information published on PlayStation Game Size's Twitter/X profile, in order to play it, one must first download 32.926 GB of data. We are, of course, talking about the PS5 version - those available on PC and XSX/S may have a slightly different "weight".

Thus, wishing to install the expansion on PS5 along with the base game, you will need to download a total of about 100 GB - as the latter requires a download of 56.083 GB. Nevertheless, Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty will take up considerably more space on the PlayStation 5's SSD - probably around 200 GB, or maybe even a bit more than that. After all, the basee game alone takes up 158.7 GB.

It can be assumed that the size of the DLC quoted by PlayStation Game Size also includes the free update 2.0, which is expected to be released shortly before the expansion - its release date is expected to be revealed next week.

Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty will be released on September 26 for PC, PS5 and XSX/S.
