Destiny 2: Lightfall DLC Launches
Destiny 2 will receive its next big expansion today in the form of Lightfall. The expansion will be unlocked this afternoon.
We are only a few hours away from the release of Destiny 2: Lightfall, the new expansion for Bungie's popular online shooter.
Destiny 2: Lightfall - release time, price
- The DLC will debut today on PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5..
- The add-on will be unlocked at 6 pm CET.
- The PC edition will be available on Steam and Epic Games Store, as well as on Microsoft Store, and on PlayStation Store for $49.99
- In addition to the standard edition, an edition including the season pass is also available.
Destiny 2: Lightfall - preload and content
If you preordered the expansion, you can already start the preload on all hardware platforms.
The expansion promises to be tasty. It will offer a new city to explore and a sizable set of powers, some of which will take the character's mobility to previously unknown heights. It is worth mentioning that, traditionally, the DLC will launch without a raid. Named The Root of Nightmares, it will be made available on March 10.
Crowds of fans are waiting for the debut of the DLC. This can be seen from activity results of Destiny 2 on Steam, which have shot up over the past few days. At the hottest moment last Sunday, the game was played by more than 127 thousand users simultaneously. For comparison - the record on February 18 was 90 thousand.
