After eight years of work, version 1.0 of the survival game Len's Island has been released. The title was warmly received on Steam.
A few days ago, version 1.0 of Len’s Island was released on Steam. This is a very interesting project, so it's worth taking a closer look at it. It's a survival game set in a procedurally generated open world where you can play alone or in co-op mode with up to eight people. The action is shown from a bird's eye view, and besides the usual resource gathering, farming, and building structures, it also puts a lot of emphasis on fighting monsters using a combat system similar to the Diablo series.
The development of the game took eight long years, with the last three spent in early access. For a long time, the project was worked on by a single developer, Julian Ball, using a computer located in his own bedroom. The popularity of the title, however, allowed him to hire additional people to help and create a separate office for the entire team after some time.
The road to version 1.0 wasn't easy, but it was worth it because Len's Island was appreciated by the players.
Len's Island is only available on PC. The game can currently be purchased on Steam for $19.49. This is a special offer price, reduced by 35%. The offer will remain valid until July 3th.
