Diablo 4's closed beta of the game's endgame will launch in the coming weeks. Interested parties can still sign up for the tests.
First batch of invitations to closed beta tests of Diablo 4 has been sent, as reported by users on Resetera and Reddit. In doing so, they point out that the email mentions logging in before October 11 - it is possible that this is the day the beta of "post-narrative gameplay" (read: endgame) will launch.
Blizzard announced a closed beta of Diablo 4. It will be available on PC, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4.. During its duration, a group of selected people will test the game. At the moment it is not known when exactly the tests will start, but it should be no later than November 18 - this is supposed to be the last day of sending out invitations to the game. On the other hand, public beta tests (i.e. those that will not require the signing of a non-disclosure agreement) will take place early next year.
The developers have announced that they do not want to reveal the plot of Diablo IV. Therefore the beta will focus on "post-story gameplay" (read: endgame) and developed characters. Thus, during the testing we will try out the following elements:
Closed beta of Diablo IV will be mainly for people who are familiar with the series and have progressed characters in its other installments - Blizzard will take into account your recent activity in Diablo II: Resurrected and Diablo III, deciding who to send an invitation to test.
