Diablo 4's Launch Gameplay Trailer is Phenomenal, There's Even Billie Eilish

Diablo 4's latest gameplay trailer effectively builds hype for the game, although some fans feel that Blizzard dropped the ball when it came to choosing the music.

Blizzard continues to remind players of the upcoming return to the world of Sanctuary. Diablo IV has received another trailer, this time focusing on gameplay and preparing players for the game's launch.

Just like most recent materials, the trailer basically does not show much new. However, the players have spotted among other things, the first footage from hell and a few interesting elements, including another world boss. After all, even after two (for some, three) public beta tests players only explored a small part of Sanctuary. You can watch the footage below.

Of course, the hype is also built by the music. At least it should, because some fans don't think that a pop song performed by Billie Eilish is a good fit for Diablo. Apparently, her song somewhat spoiled their viewing of the trailer.

However, some Internet users are pointing out (via Reddit) that the trailer is meant to attract the attention of a wider audience and, above all, potential newcomers. Most fans of Diablo are unlikely to need to be encouraged to buy the game.

Moreover, the players add, Blizzard could have chosen much worse. You should see me in a crown nevertheless has some hint of "darkness," and that's more than can be said for some of the worse "pop" trailers. The infamous commercial of Doom Eternal is perhaps the loudest (and most hated), but definitely not the only example of a trailer in which the music fits the game like a fist to a nose.

Diablo IV will debut on June 6, and those who pre-ordered the Deluxe or Ultimate editions will start playing four days earlier. The game is headed for PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.
