Divinity: Original Sin II raised 2 million dollars on Kickstarter

Divinity: Original Sin II was successfully crowdfunded. More than that, all Kickstarter stretch goals were reached, as the game received over 2 million dollars.

With over 2 mln dollars raised we may expect Divinity: Original Sin II to be a big and tasty piece of classic roleplaying game.

Divinity: Original Sin II Kickstarter campaign ended with slightly over 2 million dollars. This means not only the base funding goal ($500), but also all stretch goals were reached. These are: strategist mode, two skill trees, racial skills, undead character origins, The Hall of Echoes area, dedicated mod support, romance and rivalry with team members, shapeshifting mask, and game master mode.

Larian Studios can now focus on creating a worthy successor to a critically acclaimed cRPG from 2014, Divinity: Original Sin. The sequel is said to be darker and more complex than its predecessor. Divinity: Original Sin II is coming out to PC in 2017.
