New Dragon's Dogma 2 Gameplay; Sequel has Makings of Early 2024 Hit
Capcom demonstrated new gameplay from the RPG Dragon's Dogma 2. At the same time, the Japanese company officially announced the game's release date. We also learned its system requirements for PC.
As announced, today Capcom unveiled a gameplay from the upcoming third-person RPG Dragon's Dogma II. In addition, during the 15-minute demonstration (see link below), the game's release date was officially announced, which a few hours earlier appeared on the game's card on Steam. The title will be released on March 22, 2024 on PC, PS5 and XSX/S. Preorders are available on Valve's platform, PS Store and Xbox Store. Two editions are available - standard and Premium.
First of all, the presented footage gives a closer look at the storyline and side quests, as well as a glimpse at the battles against monsters, which largely resembles those from the first game. However, thanks to improved physics and lovely visuals, the clashes are even more real and impressive.
Victory or defeat will be determined not only by our skills or equipment, but also by elements such as terrain. Following the example of the first part, Dragon's Dogma II will offer multiplayer gameplay. Other Risen and their Spawns - powerful, mysterious beings - will provide us with additional support in battle.
It is worth adding that the game's Steam tab published the system requirements for the PC version of Dragon's Dogma II. You can read them below - just keep in mind that the size of the game is not provided. Interestingly, the minimum and recommended configurations are very close to each other, and neither of them will allow for play at 60 frames per second. They will likely still be updated closer to release.
