Dune Strategy Game Coming Soon to PC Game Pass
We have good news for PC Game Pass subscribers. The strategy game Dune: Spice Wars is coming „soon” to Microsoft's offering.
Recall that since April this year, PC users can explore the history of the planet Arrakis thanks to Dune: Spice Wars. That's when the 4X strategy game based on Frank Herbert's best-selling novels appeared on Steam in the early access program.
PC Game Pass holders who have not yet decided to purchase the title through Valve's platform will make a good deal, because Dune: Spice Wars will appear in Microsoft's offering.
Admittedly, no specific date has yet been announced for when the title will appear in the Game Pass library, but according to the latest information, it is expected to happen soon.
It is also worth mentioning that along with the release of the game in PC Game Pass there will also be a sizable update called Sand & Air. At the time of writing this news, we don't know too many details about the update. We do know that it will introduce, among other things, new gameplay features and units. We will most likely learn more information soon.
On the other hand, a few days ago a patch appeared on Steam, expanding Spice Wars with several gameplay customization options (you can read more about it here).

In the work by Shiro Games, the studio known from the popular Northgard, we play the role of the leader of one of the factions fighting for dominance over the desert - but rich in precious element - planet Arrakis.
That element is spice melange. The most valuable substance in the universe not only prolongs life, but expands awareness and enables interstellar travel. It is found only on Arrakis and is coveted by every major power. Among them we find the houses Atreides, Harkonnen and Corrino, as well as the Smugglers and the native Fremen. It's up to us which of these groups we will take control of and fight for the unique resource.
Finally, let us remind you that Spice Wars is not the only item from the universe of Dune. Also in development is an open-world MMO game titled Dune: Awakening.
