Techland Announced Major Update 1.3.0 for Dying Light 2

Patch 1.3.0 is heading for Dying Light 2: Stay Human, introducing the highly anticipated New Game Plus mode.

Dying Light 2: Stay Human will finally get a New Game Plus mode. Techland has confirmed the feature's debut in the upcoming update 1.3.0. The patch will be released on Wednesday, April 27. Details are discussed in a new video published on YouTube.

Dying Light 2 with new challenges...

NG+ mode will, of course, only be available after completing the story campaign of Dying Light 2. The progress (i.e. equipment, abilities, etc.) from the first adventure will be retained, but players will be able to make completely different decisions.

Of course, the second approach will be much more difficult than the first, among other things, due to the level scaling of enemies. However, that's not all. Techland has also prepared new skirmishes, which are to be a test of skills even for the most experienced players.

On the other hand, cross-country enthusiasts will be able to earn a platinum medal for parkour challenges. This won't be easy either: the developers have based the required times on the scores of the best players.

...and prizes

Fortunately, the New Game Plus mode is not just about difficulty. After starting the game world will spawn 30 additional inhibitors, thanks to which we can increase the character's health and endurance. These will be hidden in - we quote - unobvious places", but getting them should make it much easier to survive in the more dangerous City.

In addition, for victories in these challenging battles, players will receive legendary weapons and other valuable items.
