All big publishers have already had their conferences, but that doesn’t mean there is no more news at E3. Many game devs are showing off their projects to the public and share some hot details. Here are several of the most interesting stories of the day.

Crytek’s next game is Hunt: Showdown.

Crytek had a behind-a-closed-door presentation of their new project, Hunt: Showdown. In this ambitious-sounding first-person shooter up to four teams of players of four will compete in a hunt for big game. In the E3 presentation players had to track down and kill a huge spider in a battle resembling a classic boss fight. Once the beast is dead, the banishing process begins, in which you have to protect the corpse from lesser monsters. However, even successfully retrieving the body does not guarantee winning, as your team can be attacked by rival players at any time and the prize can be stolen. Apart from this interesting premise, Hunt: Showdown is going to offer amazing graphics generated by the latest version of CryEngine. First gameplay footage should come out soon – in the meantime, check out the official website.

Shadow of the Colossus for PS4 is a remake

Announced during Sony’s conference, Shadow of the Colossus for PlayStation 4 is not a remaster but a remake, Famitsu found out in a conversation with Shuhei Yoshida, head at Sony Worldwide Studios. This means that the game will offer graphics made from ground up as well as brand new modern controls, which will make climbling the giants’ bodies much smoother than before. Shadow of the Colossus will be out next year.

Conan Exiles first DLC

The first DLC for Conan Exiles has been announced. The add-on will be available for free starting August 16, 2017, for PC and Xbox One. It is going to introduce new huge monsters and areas – more details are to be revealed this summer. Funcom also said they want to use Xbox One X’s power to show the beauty of Conan Exiles in 4K.

Beyond Good & Evil 2 new details

Michel Ancel discussed a lot of new details about Beyond Good & Evil 2. The game will be set 200 years before the first installment, in a world that shaped what we know from Beyond Good & Evil. Of course, we won’t meet too many old friends, but maybe some of their ancestors… Interestingly, players will be able to create their own character, choosing between male and female. After that we will take part in a tailor-made open-world adventure, GTA-style. Read more about that on Ubisoft’s blog.
