Dry Grass Chunk is an important resource to make various light sources in Grounded 2. We will help you find it!
Grounded 2 is sometimes dark. I don’t mean creepy creatures attacking you from nowhere (that too, though), but literally – nights are very dark. Travelling when you don’t see the surroundings is very dangerous. That’s why it is a good idea to have a light source of some kind. To craft a basic torch, you will need a Dry Grass Chunk. Let’s find it together.
Grounded 2 forces you to visit some dark places. You also often explore at night. To do that, a source of light is necessary. The basic torch is ideal to do just that. It fires for a relatively long time and the materials needed to craft it are quite easily obtainable. At the beginning, you may have the biggest issue with getting Dry Grass Chunks. Let’s find them together!
If you want to learn more about Grounded 2 and its various secrets, we have a guide prepared for you.
Finding Dry Grass Chunks is quite straightforward. You need to look for the yellow grass blades – they are called simply Dry Grass. Some areas have more of them than others. For example, the place where we start is on the green side of the park. However, it does not mean that there are no Dry Grass Chunks at all. You just have to look a little bit more to find them. For those who would like a little boost, though, we have prepared a map (not we… the game did that… but we have posted it here… so it counts).

SOme places where you can find Dry Grass in Grouned 2Source: Grounded 2, developer: Obsidian Entertainment, Eidos-Montréal
Of course, the above is far from all locations where the Dry Grass spawns. But it should be plenty to start with. Just go there and use your axe to chop Dry Grass into chunks. Good luck and watch out for spiders!
