Join Jagged Alliance 3 as a mercenary captain hired by the President's daughter. Assemble a skilled team of soldiers and embark on an exciting adventure. However, keep in mind that their services come at a cost. You will need diamonds to fund this military operation. We will talk about them in this guide.

Diamonds in JA3

Of course, the main source of diamonds is a mine. They are few of them and we dive into the subject in the separate article, you may read it here. However, precious stones there are automatically added to your account as money. In this guide we concentrate on diamonds which are in-game objects.

There are 3 types of diamonds which you may find in Jagged Alliance 3:

1. Diamond Shipment – it is extremely valuable object as it costs $12 000. You may get it, if you attack special convoys which roams from time to time through the map. You will recognize them by the symbol of a suitcase with a diamond. Defeat those Legion soldiers and get this solid bonus.
2. Big Diamonds – they are quite rare. They can be cashed in for $5 000. It is a loot which can be found in important places like sectors with quests or interesting events.
3. Tiny Diamonds – it is more common loot. Still, the biggest chance to get them is thanks to the locations connected to events/quests, but they can be found in other places, too. You can cash in them for $500 but it is not all. They are more versatile.

If you don’t need money immediately, you can go to Fleatown (H8). You should find Father Tooker. He will buy Tiny Diamonds for $700 and will sell them for $900 (at the same time town’s loyalty will grow slightly). You may wonder, why you should be buying these precious stones?

Go to Fleatown Flea Market (H9). Talk with Lalee Leewaylender. It is possible to buy loot boxes from him. They may contain various items, starting with magazines or ammo, and ending with weapons or grenades. Some of them will be empty, though. The currency which this person respects is Small Diamonds: 1 precious stone = 1 mystery package. Remember that the offer is limited.
