Fable Shown at Xbox Games Showcase

The new Fable was the first game shown during the Xbox Games Showcase broadcast. Starring in the trailer: Richard Ayoade.

The rumors about the presentation of the new installment of the Fable series were true. It occurred during the Xbox Games Showcase event. The video is now publicly available on YouTube - you can watch it below.

Fans of the "fabulous" series have long hoped that Microsoft would finally grace them with some footage of the new installment. So far, they've had to do with the 2020 trailer, which - while entertaining - showed nothing of the game itself.

In the meantime, gamers were on the lookout for unofficial information, some of which did not inspire optimistic moods as to the status of the project (although they were also quickly dismissed). It wasn't until February that more positive leaks began to appear, suggesting that the fourth Fable could be shown in June. At the end of May, Microsoft released a teaser that seemed to confirm the presence of this forgotten series at the Xbox Games Showcase presentation.

As a reminder: the new Fable is supposed to be a reboot for the series, which is rather unsurprising, since the release of the previous installment of the series it has been released almost 13 years. The game will be immediately available on Xbox/PC Game Pass.
