One of the Biggest Hits of 2020, Fall Guys, is Going F2P

Fall Guys is changing its distribution model. Starting June 21, the game will be available for free. At the same time, it was announced that on that day it will hit Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PS5, Nintendo Switch, and Epic Games Store, and at the same time disappear from Steam.

Fall Guys was one of the biggest releases of 2020 - the game has sold 11 million units on Steam alone in just a few months after debut. In the latest announcement the creators informed that the title is changing its distribution model. From June 21 it will be available for free to all players.

At the same time it was announced that on the same date Fall Guys will hit the Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PS5 and Nintendo Switch. Equally important, the title is changing its distribution platform on PC. On June 21 the game will disappear from Steam and will only be available on Epic Games Store (at least for new players). This is not particularly shocking, considering the fact that the creators of Fall Guys have been bought out by Epic Games.

Nevertheless people who purchased the game on Steam will still get updates with new content. Additionally, they will receive the so-called Legacy Pack, which includes cosmetic items and the Season Pass from season 1. To receive it, you must launch the title before June 21.

Furthermore, it has been announced that Fall Guys is going to have a lot of new features. There will be fresh maps and gameplay mechanics, as well as cross-play features. Details related to these attractions will be revealed closer to June 21.
