Fallout 4 Gets Impressive Fan-made Expansion With Dubbing

The Fens Sheriff's Department mod has been released, adding new locations and dubbed adventures to Fallout 4.

Fallout 4 is already more than 7 years old, but the game is alive and thriving thanks to an active modding community. One of the latest fruits of this collaboration is the mod called The Fens Sheriff's Department, which was designed to resemble an official DLC in terms of size and quality. The project debuted in early February, and yesterday its author, MunkySpunk, released a new version, numbered 0.98.

The project expands Diamond City, introducing new locations and characters. Fifty new adventures await the players, providing hours of fun. Interestingly, the modification also offers 17,500 lines of recorded dialogue. This is noteworthy, as the presence of dubbing is rarely seen in fan projects.

The project also adds a new faction in the form of the titular Fens Sheriff's Department, maintaining order in the region, around which the plot of the entire modification revolves. An additional companion with its own story and missions is also available.

The project is a development of a mod popular years ago, called The Bleachers - A Diamond City Story, which was selected in on Nexus Modse as the best modification of October 2019. All the content of this project was included in the enhanced version that is The Fens Sheriff's Department, so downloading the original is not necessary.

The Fens Sheriff's Department also implemented many other smaller modifications by this author. As a result, we get additional weapons and a ton of new items for the workshop.

Recall that Fallout 4 was released in November 2015. The game is available on PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4, but the mod The Fens Sheriff's Department was released only for the PC edition.
