First Trailer of Star Wars Squadrons
Star Wars: Squadrons received the promised trailer. Electronic Arts revealed, among others, the game's release date and some additional information.
As announced, Electronic Arts has revealed the first trailer of Star Wars: Squadrons. It confirms that the upcoming game will be released on October 2 on PC (Steam, Epic Games, Origin), Xbox One and PlayStation 4. Owners of all platforms will be able to play together thanks to the cross-play feature. You can watch the video below.
In addition, the publisher has launched the official website, which contains some information about the game. Star Wars: Squadrons will focus on 5 on 5 clashes, with the Empire on one side and the New Republic on the other. However, these will not be modest clashes, because apart from the players there will be whole fleets of ships taking part in battles. In the battle it will be necessary to use the option of redirecting power between ship's sub-systems and some strategy. If we don't like the online skirmishes, the creators also prepare a single-player campaign.
Admittedlt, the first "show" of the game did not answer many questions. Fortunately, that's not all we can expect in the near future. Electronic Arts has already announced the first presentation of gameplay in Star Wars: Squadrons. We will see it on June 18 at 4:00 PM PT as part of EA Play Live conference.
