What's next for the Persistent War? Before the big Airborne update, Foxhole is rolling out some quality-of-life improvements.
No Man’s Sky isn’t the only game that receives frequent updates, whether small tweaks or major expansions like the recent Worlds Part 2. Siege Camp keeps Foxhole fresh as well. The game launched in early access nearly eight years ago and officially released in 2022, yet its player base keeps growing. Unlike typical multiplayer games, teamwork is everything here – battles last for days or weeks, and every action matters. With no AI factions, everything is built, fought for, and organized by real players. As the devs say, thousands of players shape the outcome of a persistent online war.
The last major update, Infantry, dropped recently, and while the next changes aren’t as big, they’ll still bring solid improvements – especially for medics. So, there’s no need for another in-game strike like the one in 2022.
Another year, another Foxhole roadmap! The 2025 plan is here, and with the big Airborne update set to drop later this year, the devs are kicking things off with some changes from Update 60.
This update brings much-needed improvements, bug fixes, optimization work, and game balance tweaks. Just keep in mind that these changes apply to the Dev Experimental Branch.

Been with gamepressure.com since 2019, mostly writing game guides but you can also find me geeking out about LEGO (huge collection, btw). Love RPGs and classic RTSs, also adore quirky indie games. Even with a ton of games, sometimes I just gotta fire up Harvest Moon, Stardew Valley, KOTOR, or Baldur's Gate 2 (Shadows of Amn, the OG, not that Throne of Bhaal stuff). When I'm not gaming, I'm probably painting miniatures or admiring my collection of retro consoles.
