FPS Set in Abandoned E3 for Free on Steam

The creators of Shadow Warrior surprised the fans with a completely new title. Devolverland Expo, as the game is called, is a free single-player shooter full of industry nods and references.

Brand awareness level hard.

Devolver Digital still proves to be a factory of creative ideas for video games. Together with Polish studio Flying Wild Hog (responsible for the Shadow Warrior series among others) they have just released a new FPS title. And not a bad one at that.

We are talking about Devolverland Expo, a first-person shooter, which the creators describe as a marketing simulator located in abandoned congress center. Why such description? In the game we move around the building where a special conference was supposed to take place, but it was canceled under mysterious circumstances. Associations with E3 come to mind instantly. In addition, we can find four hidden collectibles throughout the game. After assembling them we will receive hints about publisher's unannounced game.

Devolverland Expo is a real exhibition hall of the publisher's hottest titles.

Devolverland Expo is a game full of winks and nods to other titles and video games in general We will find there, among others, sceneries known from the aforementioned Shadow Warrior, Devolver's upcoming game, Carrion, as well as Nvidia panels. We can see more details in the trailer below. Most importantly, the title is already available on Steam and is completely free.

His adventure with journalism began with a personal blog, the name of which is no longer worth quoting. Then he interpreted Iranian dramas and the Joker, writing for cinematography journal, which, sadly, no longer exists. His writing credentials include a degree in film studies, but his thesis was strictly devoted to video games. He has been writing for Gamepressure since March 2020, first writing a lot about movies, then in the newsroom, and eventually, he became a specialist in everything. He currently edits and writes articles and features. A long-time enthusiast of the most bizarre indie games and arthouse cinema. He idolizes surrealism and postmodernism. He appreciates the power of absurdity. Which is probably why he also tried soccer refereeing for 2 years (with so-so results). He tends to over-philosophize, so watch out.
