Friday the 13th: The Game will disappear from sale in a few months. All because of the end of the licensing agreement with the brand owners.
We have bad news for fans of Friday the 13th: The Game, an assymetric network game based on the horror film series.
Recall that Friday the 13th: The Game debuted in 2017 on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Two years later, a version for Nintendo Switch was released. The game was warmly received - on Steam 79% of player reviews praised the title.
Friday the 13th: The Game unfortunately can no longer boast a large community. In 2018 the work on further DLCs was discontinued, and yesterday's activity record was a mere 280 concurrent players on Steam. So it is not surprising that it does not make sense from financial point of view to renew the license.
