The world launch of Frostpunk took place on April 24, 2018.

On the occasion of the first anniversary of the release of Frostpunk, 11 bit studios posted an infographics on its official twitter profile.

We learn that the total sales of the title in the first year exceeded 1.4 million copies and that the costs of three years of development were reimbursed within 66 hours from the release. Frostpunk found buyers in 191 countries (as a curiosity the devs say that 3 copies of the game were sold on Aruba, one of which was later returned).

The main campaign was completed by 43.8% of the players and 59% of them chose the religion path. Those who managed to reach the end credits mined an average of 48,000 units of coal, while the average size of the city in the game was 300 people.

0.3% of the players survived 100 days at the highest difficulty level. On the other hand, 2.9% followed in the footsteps of the producer Marek Ziemak, losing in the Calm mode. The development team was so astonished by the extremely poor results of their colleague that they decided to dedicate to him one of the achievements in the game - "Hi, Marek! - for failing in the simplest gameplay mode.

The number of 1.4 million copies sold will certainly grow when the game will launch on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, which is due to happen this summer.
