„Funding the Dream in Gaming” Webinar Will Teach You Exactly That

How to obtain funding from the largest venture capital companies for your own gaming project? This is what LVP, Google or BetaDwarf representatives are going to talk about during the upcoming webinar titled „Funding the dream in gaming”.

On 17 December 2020 at 3 PM CET there will be a webinar, titled "Funding the dream in gaming" in which a group of experts dealing with venture capital activities will talk about how to get funding for a video game project. More details about the conference can be found in the following abstract.

"Are you considering or in the process of raising venture capital funding for a game startup? Are you curious how VC firms evaluate and operate? Or what change once you have inventors onboard? We will go through how we think about this and work to evaluate companies at Lvp, a specialized game VC firm that seed funded companies like Supercell, Unity, Natural Motion, Playfish, Bunch, Betadwarf and many more. A VC firm can seem like a black box for game founders. This session will go through how a VC operates; what elements we consider when we evaluate investing in a game startup; typical problems and weaknesses we find in pitches; and try to give some advice and better understanding around how to approach and pitch for funding for games companies.".

The webinar will be hosted by Are Mack Growen (general partner of London Venture Partners), Harry Hamer (associate of London Venture Partners), Steffen Kabbelgaard (CEO of BetaDwarf), Norbert Simionescu (Industry Director of Google) and Mariusz Gasiewski (Mobile Gaming Director of Google). If you would like to take part in it, you will find a link to registration here.

His adventure with journalism began with a personal blog, the name of which is no longer worth quoting. Then he interpreted Iranian dramas and the Joker, writing for cinematography journal, which, sadly, no longer exists. His writing credentials include a degree in film studies, but his thesis was strictly devoted to video games. He has been writing for Gamepressure since March 2020, first writing a lot about movies, then in the newsroom, and eventually, he became a specialist in everything. He currently edits and writes articles and features. A long-time enthusiast of the most bizarre indie games and arthouse cinema. He idolizes surrealism and postmodernism. He appreciates the power of absurdity. Which is probably why he also tried soccer refereeing for 2 years (with so-so results). He tends to over-philosophize, so watch out.
