Release of Nvidia’s newest product will occur after one week.

For few days there were rumors that GeForce RTX 2060, is supposed to hit the market in several variants. Meanwhile, VideoCardz service has released a confirmed hardware specification of this model, along with the price, as well as uploaded photos of the card in the Founders Edition version. The graphics accelerator will be equipped with 1920 CUDA cores, 30 RT cores and 240 Tensor cores. The GeForce RTX 2060 will be clocked at 1365 MHz (with a boost to 1680 MHz). The latest GPU of Nvidia will replace the GTX 1060 model on the market, but its performance will be equal to that of the GTX 1070 Ti card.

GeForce RTX 2060 is expected to be unveiled on January 7, 2019. The graphics card will cost 349 dollars. The price of the regular edition will be identical to the price of Founders Edition. The product is going to be sold in a pack with a game (Battlefield V or Anthem to choose from). The “slowest” card based on the Turing architecture will be available for purchase from 15 January 2019.

Power around 6,5 teraflops will let gamers play even the most hardware-heavy titles.

At 1920x1080 resolution, the GeForce RTX 2060 delivers results comparable to the GTX 1070 Ti. Testing was conducted on a computer equipped with a Core i9-7900X processor and 16GB of RAM. Particularly interesting are the results of the card when compared to ray tracing technology in Battlefield V. When ray tracing is turned on ultra, we will get 58 frames per second. However, if we decide to turn off the new Nvidia technology, the performance leap is huge, because we will get 110 FPS. Below you can see how the card is performing in leading titles.

154 frames per second in Battlefield 1? Sounds reasonable.

On the occasion of publishing prices and specifications, VideoCardz also revealed how the Founders Edition version of the card will look like. We must admit that its design is quite standard, and the photos probably do not fully reflect the "character" of the card.
