Company of Heroes 3 connects elements of turn-based strategy with RTS. It is a game, for which fans have been waiting for many years. There are few modes in the game. People who enjoy multiplayer experience and single-player gameplay can find something suitable for themselves. In his article we will talk about generals who are present in the Italian campaign.

Company of Heroes 3 – Basic information about generals

There are 3 commanders in total. You start with Generals Norton and Buckram. After completing the first mission for partisans, you will also have contact with Eleonora Valenti. Each of them has perks, which can influence the campaign. However, you gain access to them only, if leaders trust you. You can do that by completing missions.

The best general in Company of Heroes 3

If you want to pick the best general, first consider which strategy you want to use. Each commander is good for something different:

  1. General Buckram – this commander influences air support. If you use airplanes a lot, try to have a good relationship with this person.
  2. General Norton – the strong point of this general is navy. If you prefer to use ships, this commander is for you.
  3. Eleonora Valenti – the leader of the resistance will assist you in reconnaissance, if you want to know what is going on at the enemy, choose her.

Of course, you should aim to make all generals like you.

  1. Airborne Reinforcement – Removes the cooldown time on the Airborne Company’s Heal Target ability.
  2. Advanced Landing Fields – Adds a free B-25 Mitchell aircraft to airfields when captured.
  3. Anti-Air Support – Adds a free Anti-aircraft Emplacement at airfields when captured.
  4. Buckram’s Loyalty – Ensures Buckram’s support in your final offensive to break the Winter Line.
  5. Marston Mats – Decrease the cost of all aircraft abilities.

  1. Navigator – Increases the movement range of all naval vessels.
  2. Naval Reserves – Adds a free Mahan-class Vessel at seaports when captured.
  3. Amphibious Operations – Decreases the cost of the transport company ability at seaports.
  4. Norton’s Loyalty – Ensures Norton’s support in your final offensive to break the Winter Line.
  5. Logistics Chain – Increases the amount of fuel delivered by supply shipments.

  1. Local Relations – Improves the Capture Target ability at partisan hubs, giving it a high chance to double its effect each turn.
  2. Civilian Intel – Reveals enemy locations along the frontline, showing companies and emplacements near town, depot and airfield.
  3. Enigma Decrypts – Reveals enemy company, airfield and naval actions.
  4. Valenti’s Loyalty – Ensures Valenti’s support in your final offensive to break the Winter Line.
  5. Captured Materiel – Improves the Loot Target ability at partisan hubs, doubling the resource reward for looting enemy locations.
