Gotham Knights Abandons PS4 and Xbox One; New Gameplay Available

Gotham Knights will skip the 8th-gen consoles and launch exclusively on PC, PS5 and XSX/S. Pre-orders for the game launched today, and WB Games Montreal has finally released a significant gameplay footage from the game.

If you were planning to play Gotham Knights on PlayStation 4 or Xbox One, I bring bad news. From today on you can pre-order the game from WB Games Montreal - but only versions dedicated to PC, PS5 and XSX/S (prices start at 69.99 euros). This means that the developer and publisher - Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment - have abandoned 8th-gen consoles.

Well, we'll have to get used to it - no one seemed to hope that the PS4 and XOne will "live" forever. To wipe away the tears of the owners of these devices - or maybe to rub it in? - the creators have released several minutes of gameplay from the game (available below). You can see its various elements, including the cooperation of two of the four title characters - Nightwing and Red Hood. Before the launch, scheduled for October 25, 2022, of Gotham Knights we will surely see more footage - including Robin and Batgirl.

It is worth reminding here that Gotham Knights will not enable us to complete the story campaign in 4-player co-op, despite recent rumors. We will be able to complete the game only with one friend by our side (over the network).
