God of War: Ragnarok will receive the highly anticipated New Game Plus mode. Unfortunately, it will not be available this year or even in the first weeks of next year.
Developers plan to expand God of War: Ragnarok further. After the update, which introduced to the game, among other things, the photo mode, players will receive yet another highly anticipated item. On its official profile on Twitter Santa Monica Studio confirmed today that an option to start New Game Plus after completing the adventure will be introduced. Unfortunately, it will appear in GoW: Ragnarok only next spring.
So far we have no specific information about the New Game Plus, but it can be assumed that it will be similar to the one present in the previous installment of God of War. So expect to be able to start the adventure all over again with the same equipment or skills you gained during the previous approach, on a slightly higher difficulty level. So it will be a great opportunity to return to travelling with Kratos and Atreus.
By the way, it is no surprise that Ragnarok receives such an important feature only some time after its release. New Game Plus mode for the aforementioned God of War from 2018 also arrived after several months after its market debut.
