Dune: Awakening has launched on Steam with a bang. The game is getting very good reviews and cranking out impressive activity results.
The day before the official, global release, Dune: Awakening is doing great on Steam. Over the weekend, more than 117,000 people were playing the new paid survival game on Steam at the same time (via SteamDB). Expectations before the release for all players are therefore high.
The official global release of Dune: Awakening is happening next week, but the Deluxe and Ultimate edition buyers already started the fun last night. So it's worth taking a look at the current reception of this title.
Players clearly like Dune: Awakening - on Steam, 81% of player reviews praise this project, which the platform categorizes as a "very positive" reception of the title.
The developers also shared their future plans. On June 10th, along with the official release, some additional servers will be activated. The creators also promised that they have no plans for microtransactions or subscriptions. Instead, they will be earning from the sale of the basic version of the game and classic expansions with new content. The game will also be developed with the help of free updates.
We knew about the lack of subscription since March. The new thing is the declaration that the developer has no plans for any form of microtransactions.
Dune: Awakening can be purchased on Steam for $49.99 (standard edition). The Deluxe Edition costs $69.99, and the Ultimate Edition - $89.99.
