Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor is getting a lot of attention. The developers of the sequel to the popular dwarf shooter have shared the sales result and future plans.
A week ago, Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor was released on Steam in early access. This is a roguelite game in which we explore deep caves as a dwarf astronaut. The devs boasted today that since the day of its launch day, over 500,000 people have decided to go to the planet Hoxxes and buy this game.
This is quite an achievement for a Deep Rock Galactic spin-off. Motivated by the popularity of Survivor - with an average of 30,000 to 50,000 people playing the game at the same time and great reviews (83% of which are positive on Steam) - the devs are already preparing the first major updates and have presented their future plans to fans.
Funday Games Studio wants the highest-ranked updates on the shared list to be incorporated into the game as a priority in the upcoming weeks and months. However, it's worth bearing in mind that plans and their order may change.
DRG: Survivor fans reacted very enthusiastically to the news. However, many players are still waiting for the multiplayer mode to be introduced. It was a significant aspect of the first installment and would have added variety to the fun in that spin-off.
