We still frequently hear about the Harry Potter universe despite it being over 25 years old. Recently, the most talked-about topic has been the upcoming live-action series, which is quickly approaching. Moreover, the new adaptation of J.K. Rowling’s novel on HBO Max is rumored to be connected with the anticipated sequel to the hit game Hogwarts Legacy.
Official mod support was added two years after the release of the game in early 2023. Those interested in the topic didn’t waste time - news quickly spread through the video game industry. Instead of a magical broom, our character can now explore the world on a flying vacuum cleaner. As a bit of a fresher twist, a mod introducing a first-person perspective to the game was released some time ago.
A video presenting the "First Person" mod made by Sh4ii can be found on Reddit, where one of the users showed what the first-person perspective looks like in practice. Several scenes at Hogwarts - such as duels with other students in the training room or reflections in the mirror - are presented quite effectively, offering a fresh and interesting take on the familiar game.
The new perspective also appealed to other players, who commented on the thread, drawing attention to a completely new depth of the game, especially in battles with more terrifying enemies or during specific quests.
All fun and games until you want to buy a shop and Penny needs a favor lol. Seriously, that's cool tho
In the comments section, the creator of the mod also spoke up, expressing gratitude for using their work. We must also remind you that all mods are only available for PC players, and can be downloaded from one of the modding databases.
The community also expressed its expectations for the announced sequel of Hogwarts Legacy. As you can see, the first-person perspective looks quite good, and so players wish for it to be an official option in the next game by Avalanche Studios.
