How to Get and Use Corestone in Hydroneer

In this guide you will learn how to mine Corestone in Hydroneer. You will also find information about the uses of this raw material.

Hydroneer, a sandbox that enables you to explore the world and acquire resources, recently received update 2.2. The developers not only fixed a number of bugs appearing in the title, but also added brand new content. Among them, we will find a raw material - Corestone. In this guide you will learn what it is and how to get it.

Hydroneer - what is Corestone?

As we have already mentioned, Corestone is a new resource that appeared in the game with update 2.2. It is a rare resource that is found in biggest quantities at great depths. It is important because it enables you to upgrade your equipment to Tier 3. Thus, with its help you will obtain such tools as Corestone Drills and Corestone Harvesters.

Hydroneer - how to extract Corestone?

Of course, in Hydroneer, you will mine Corestone at virtually any depth. However, this requires the right tools:

  1. When digging with a shovel, you can come across it in the upper layers of Tier 1 (the chance of this, however, is very slim, so you will get very small amounts of resources this way);
  2. Using Tier 2 Drill at Tier 2 depths.

You should also keep in mind that the deeper you dig the greater the chance of finding this resource.

If you are interested in the title and want to learn other information about it, I invite you to read our previous guides.
