Travelling through the Void on a board of a train in Voidtrain can definitely be an unforgettable experience. However, in the beginning of the game, the player is put on a trolley cart, which isn’t very glamorous. Let’s find out how to make your mean of transport cosier and train-like by exploring how to unlock and build walls.

How to unlock and build walls in Voidtrain

First step in unlocking walls is to build a Rofleemo Nest and feed the pet Rofleemo with Mushrooms. After providing the critter with certain number of Mushrooms, they will give you walls blueprints.

After obtaining them you will have to pull up to a depot. There, in the Building Console, you will be able to modify your train. While in the building menu, you will be able to see a hammer icon within a circle appearing on the train itself that will let you install walls on your machine.

The cost of walls varies depending on the version that you have chosen, yet it isn’t very steep. You will have to prepare some Iron Bars and Bolts. Some walls though require Leather to build though. It drops from living creatures found in the Void.

Walls function in Voidtrain

The walls in Voidtrain don’t serve any particular purpose besides fulfilling decorative functions. It is worth doing so, as the train at the beginning of the game is very basic. The more you progress through the Void, the more materials you will have to spare on decorations to make your train look fancier.
