Despite being set in postapocalyptic world, the game features laid back version of world that can easily be categorised as solarpunk, when the technology goes hand in hand with nature. As most survival games it focuses on base building, crafting and exploration. While exploring though, you might find an interesting object – Digital Storage. How to open Digital Storage Box in I Am Future?

A way to opening Digital Storage Box is consisting of several step. The first thing to do would be to make sure that you have access to Smart Tower. Unfortunately, the tower by itself won’t help you with the task of opening the box. The next step is to upgrade the Smart Tower with Decoder Module. This upgrade module enables the contraption for decrypting Digital Storage.

With all that done, you will be able to proceed and open the mysterious box. Now, go to the Smart Tower and interact with it to open its menu. Then, on the left side of the menu, there are tabs you can choose from. Open the Decoder Module tab. With the tab opened, drag the Digital Storage box into the decoding area and click on the item to decode it. Congratulations! The box should be now opened.

What are Digital Storage boxes used for?

Digital Storage boxes are basically containers you will find along your way while exploring that upon decrypting / opening will award you with an unknown treasure. The box can consist of crafting items, costumes, items for disassembly or U-coins.
