“I was crying day in and day out.” For Supernatural star Jared Padalecki, one episode of the TV series has become a real torture
Jared Padalecki didn’t have an easy time while working on one episode of Supernatural season 3. The actor was crying and feeling miserable day after day.

Supernatural is a production at which its actors had a lot of fun. This is evident every time they talk about the production during conventions and interviews, and is also indicated by how long they expressed their desire to act in the TV series, which eventually had 15 seasons.
However, not every day was nice, and even with episodes that were seemingly fun, the actors sometimes had a really hard time. This was the case, for example, with Jared Padalecki, who had a bad experience with the filming of a Supernatural season 3 episode titled Mystery Spot. In it, Dean repeatedly died, which was shown in a humorous way, however Padalecki, remaining in the role of Dean's brother, lived through the events together with Sam (via Entertainment Weekly).
I feel like all I can do is be totally honest as Sam Winchester, and he’s not a funny guy. The way I treat the death, like Mystery Spot, which was a kind of comedic episode, was miserable for me. I was crying day in and day out. I mean it. This is not hyperbole. That was a miserable, miserable, miserable week in my life.
It was a difficult time for Jared Padalecki. Viewers may have found it amusing, however, the character he played was going through terrible experiences, which took a toll on the actor's mood, who had to be convincing while mourning the many deaths of his TV brother.
I could only treat it like it was reality. I had to treat it like Sam, and Sam would be mortified. When [Dean] kept on getting shot, I was playing, as best as I could, my brother is dead. My brother is dead in my arms. He got shot. A f–king piano fell on him, whatever it was. For me, it was miserable because I was legitimately trying to convince myself that my brother had died from some funny way, but it’s not funny if it’s happened to you.
Something that may be fun for the audience to watch is not necessarily so for the actors who have to play it. And Padalecki found that out on the set of Supernatural.
