Inside the Backrooms does not provide the possibility of manually saving the game. The game does it automatically when you reach the office. This is the only place in the game where the game's progress is saved. If something does not go your way before you reach it, you have to repeat the whole stage from the beginning.

You also need to keep in mind that if you are playing in a group, the save only happens with the person who set up the lobby.

All game saves, on the other hand, are kept in the following folder:

  1. Steam/userdata/103040632/1987080/ subfolder on the drive where you have Steam installed.

The easiest way to get there is to right-click on the Steam icon on the desktop and select "open file location".
