Several leaks have appeared on the web, concerning new Intel flagships - Core i9-10900K and mobile Core i9-10980HK. It looks like the units will be able to challenge AMD's products.

IN A NUTSHELL:
There have been further leaks regarding the performance of Intel's new flagship CPU, the Core i9-10900K, which will belong to the Comet Lake-S line. This time it's about the Firestrike benchmark. It seems that Intel's unit almost equals the competitive Ryzen 9 3900X. The results are from less than a week ago and were published on Twitter by user _rogame.
In the general test, Core i9-10900K scored 27536 points. The Ryzen 9 3900X, on a similar configuration - although with more RAM - reached 30415 points, so about 5% more.
Intel's unit also performed slightly worse in the CPU-only test (13142 versus 13650 points).
It's worth noting that the CPU from AMD has an advantage in terms of the number of cores - it has 12 cores and can handle 24 threads, while in the case of the Intel unit it's 10/20, respectively. However, the Comet Lake-S processor has a noticeably higher clock in Turbo / Boost mode - it can reach even 5.3 GHz for one core or 4.9 GHz for all (Ryzen 9 3900X without overclocking reaches 4.6 GHz on a single core).
During the test, Intel's processor worked with a Z490 motherboard and 16 gigabytes of DDR4 memory, clocked at 3200 MHz. This means that the results should represent quite reliably the performance that most normal users will be able to achieve. Using a faster RAM, you could probably improve the results a bit further.
It's not the only leak on the Comet Lake processor line. The second report published today concerns mobile processors, more specifically the flagship Core i9-10980HK. It looks like it could be the fastest i9 unit dedicated to laptops ever built - all thanks to its incredible Turbo mode clock (reaching almost 5.3 GHz). The CPU achieved impressive scores of 6321 points (single core) and 32038 points (all cores) in the Geekbench benchmark. The results of Ryzen 7 4800H are 5228 and 31614 respectively.
It is worth noting that all the above reports are unofficial, although they seem quite credible. Nevertheless, approach them with a grain of salt.
