Bone Appetit and and Hearty Stock in No Man's Sky are milestones which require cooking. A key dish to complete both tasks is Bone Broth. You will learn how to create this culinary masterpiece with our guide.
While doing No Man's Sky’s Expedition 18 quests, you can meet an NPC named Iteration Cronus, who is the chef of the Space Anomaly. This character wants to eat a dish of bones. The problem is that the instructions to the Bone Appetite milestone are not entirely clear. Luckily, we know what you should do. One of the meals you can prepare for Cronus is Bone Broth, it is also crucial for completing Hearty Stock quest. While its recipe is very easy, it can be confusing. Fortunately, we have a solution.
It's worth noting right at the outset that to complete Bone Appetite, Softened Marrow alone can be enough. You can still serve up Cronus Bone Broth, though. If the attempt fails for the first time, try again. Of course, to get Hearty Stock milestone, you need to cook Broth.
Moreover, there is not really one right recipe for how to make Bone Broth. There are several different combinations where Softened Marrow is the main ingredient (e.g., Softened Marrow + Meat), yet below is the most common way to make this special dish:
With this recipe, you will be able to create Bone Broth. However, players have reported issues with cooking. Be sure to disable Fast Refinery Mod if you are using it, as it may interfere in the process.
