The Gilded Age is a popular and well-reviewed series directed by Julian Fellowes, the creator of the famous Downton Abbey. Up to now, there have been two seasons released of this costume production which action takes place in 19th century United States. Will The Gilded Age receive a third season? This is a question that fans of this historical spectacle are certainly asking themselves.

HBO has made a decision on the third season of The Gilded Age – it has been given the green light. So it looks like we will get new episodes of the costume hit in the future, probably not so near. The decision is not so surprising, given the very good reception of the series and the fact that The Gilded Age is currently one of the flagship productions of HBO.

What is the series about? This historical piece takes viewers to New York circa year 1880. We receive a complete recreation of how life in United States at the end of the 19th century went and what the problems suffered by many social classes were, both the working class and black people who slowly tried to threw away the shackles of racial segregation.

You can find The Gilded Age on Max.
