A famous Hollywood actress is likely to visit the world of John Wick again. The director of films about the professional assassin reveals in which productions she may appear.
Director Chad Stahelski, responsible for the John Wick movie series, revealed recently on The Joe Rogan Experience podcast that there are plans for Halle Berry to return as Sofia Al-Azwar in future productions from the professional assassin's universe. For now, however, the filmmaker has not confirmed which projects would be involved.
Halle Berry first appeared as Sofia Al-Azwar in John Wick 3 from 2019. Recall that Al-Azwar is a former assassin who serves as the manager of the Continental Hotel in Morocco. In the latest installment - John Wick 4 - the character did not appear.

However, this may change in future productions. Stahelski revealed in the aforementioned podcast that Berry is likely to be involved in the franchise's spin-offs, currently under development. She may also receive her own series, but this is not certain. This is how the director commented on the actress' return as Sofia Al-Azwar.
"Yes. We actually talked a few times to try... I hate the term spin-off, but they are trying to do other projects in the Wick universe. I hope they will be good," replied Chad Stahelski.
Recall that the spin-offs mentioned include Ballerina and The Continental. The first production will focus on a female assassin seeking to avenge the deaths of her loved ones, while the second will tell the story of the creation of a famous hotel for assassins.
Sofia Al-Azwar may also return in the fifth installment of John Wick, which has already been announced. Another option is her participation in a big-budget AAA game, which is reportedly being worked on. Its creation has been confirmed by Lionsgate, but unfortunately the studio developing the title has not been revealed.
