On September 28, the medieval MMO Kingdoms of Ereloth will debut in the early access on Steam. If the title doesn't tell you anything, that's okay, because it's a completely fresh production from Arcadius Entertainment, a studio which hasn't yet managed to make its mark on the industry with any impressive project.

However, this does not mean that the developers are not aiming high. On the contrary. The tool for success is to be the aforementioned Kingdoms of Ereloth, which can satisfy not only MMO lovers, but also survival and strategy fans.

  1. It will be up to us what position we take in the game. Those who do not necessarily like to live under the dictates of the law can take up piracy. Players with such tendencies will excel in the role of a ruler, while those who prefer a quiet life in nature can take on the role of a farmer.
  2. However, before we decide who we want to be, the developers will put at our disposal a wide range of character personalization options.

"In Kingdoms of Ereloth you can make your dreams come true as a pirate, a king or a peaceful farmer. Immerse yourself in sprawling kingdoms with a variety of mechanics, enabling you to make alliances, seize thrones and rule prosperous territories with a powerful army under your command. Each kingdom operates under its own system, laws and leaders, offering endless opportunities for strategic political maneuvering and the pursuit of ultimate power," reads the game's description on Steam.

  1. The developers also emphasize the strong role-playing aspect of the game.. Players can interact with other users and NPCs. The developers argue that "the dynamic reputation system and socio-political structure create many opportunities for role-playing that shape daily life in Ereloth."
  2. Equally important will be the economic system. From the information published by Arcadius Entertainment, we learn that whether we build a house, a farm or create our own "business," we will have as much influence on the market as weather, taxes and geography.
  3. The developers have also focused on diversifying the transportation system. To move between lands, we will be able to use wild animals (which must be tamed beforehand), horse-drawn carriages, as well as boats.
  4. Kingdoms of Ereloth will have no shortage of clashes with human opponents and magical creatures. In order not to succumb in a duel, our character will have to learn more and more effective fighting techniques.
