Knockout City - Season 2 is Coming, and it Features Hollywood

The second season of Knockout City was announced during EA Play Live 2021. It will introduce a new map and quite a few additional items to the game, among other things.

SEASON 2 IN A NUTSHELL:
  1. New map;
  2. New ball;
  3. Additional items;
  4. Launch of a new network league.

The EA Play Live 2021 presentation was not limited only to upcoming titles. A lot of information about the future of already released titles was also revealed. The announcement of the second season of Knockout City, the online action game from Velan that launched in May this year, fell into this category.

Season 2, bearing the title Fight at the Movies will launch on July 27, this year and will introduce a new map called Holowood Drive-in. As the title suggests, it was inspired by movies, offering a variety of locations - from a cathedral from a horror movie to a bridge of lovers from romantic comedies - and the set is to change shape as the game progresses.

The list of balls available in the game will be enriched by a new variant called Soda Ball, which will cover the screen of enemies with a sticky liquid, limiting visibility. There will also be new items inspired by the history of the Dream Factory. A new online league will also be launched with the start of the second season.

Knockout City launched on May 21, this year. The title was released on PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch. The PC edition is available on Origin and Steam. The game can also be played by PS5 and Xbox Series X/S owners thanks to backward compatibility. It is worth noting that the title offers cross-play, enabling the owners of different hardware platforms to play together.
