Lightyear Frontier is an unusual farming game. In this title you do not fight with monsters or make friends with local people. You are alone on the beautiful planet and try to create a new home for yourself. All this without fighting, but in a big, deadly mech. Did I say deadly? Well, not really, as all weapons are changed into farming tools! Isn’t it great? One of the base resources to progress in LF is Aluminum Rod. Let’s learn where to find this material.

Lightyear Frontier – Where to Find Aluminum Rod

Aluminum Rods are available as soon as the first biome. To gather them, you have to look for the Aluminum Deposits. They look like grey rods which grow out of the ground. You have to watch out, as some resources are renewable and some not. If the material has a chance to “regrow”, there will be a hole left behind of it.

Aluminum Deposits can be found among mountains and rocks. So, look for them on the outskirts of the first biome. You can also try your luck feeding animals, as they can also drop this resource.

What is Aluminum Rods can be encountered also in caves. Of course, you will not be able to enter them in your mech. On such occasions you have to leave the farming, killer machine and travel on foot.

You have to remember that you can’t collect resources while outside the mech, but you can grab them with your tool. After doing that, just go to your machine and leave the resources in its vicinity. They will be automatically transferred to your storage.
