LoL Patch 11.4 Changes Jungle, Nerfs Samira

Riot Games released a new update for League of Legends. It features quite a few changes balancing both jungle and junglers or new, nerfed Samira.

LOL PATCH 11.4 IS:
  1. Less gold and experience for eliminating creatures in the jungle;
  2. Significant nerf for Samira, especially at early levels;
  3. Buff for several junglers, including Amumu.

League of Legends recently got patch 11.4, which balances certain champions. As the creators themselves admitted, they focused primarily on nerfing Samira, a character who recently enjoyed a large number of bans in the draft selection, as well as lowering the benefits of clearing jungle camps. In this update we did not receive any skins, but the creators reassure - these are to appear in the near future.

Samira - changes

Each of Samira's skills has seen some minor changes, most of which are aimed at making her a little weaker, especially in the early levels (as evidenced by the damage scaling on her passive skill and the change in numbers for Q [Flair]). Her W (Blade Whirl) lasts a bit shorter, and her jump (E - Wild Rush) is done with reduced speed and can't be performed by allies (but we can jump over enemy towers thanks to new changes). The only trace buff is a one second reduction of Samira's ult cooldown (Inferno Trigger), which is unlikely to be felt.

Jungle camps

Riot Games has noticed that the jungle can provide, when used properly, too much of an advantage in some games. They found a way to slightly weaken its role in removing some of the benefits of defeating creature camps. This means, in simple words, less experience and gold for players for killing mobs. This applies to 4 types of creatures - Gromps, Krugs, Lesser Krugs and Crimson Raptors.

Junglers with large number of "buffs"

The developers wanted to compensate the above changes to the players whose favorite role is jungle, so they improved some of the characters popular in this position. Fans of Amumu will probably be happy, because he gained a bit more health, and also deals more damage with his E (Tantrum). Lee Sin, on the other hand, can use his Q (Sonic Wave) a bit more often, as its cooldown was reduced. Additionally, Tryndamere has stronger basic attacks (by a few points).

An exception in the group is Skarner, who is the only jungler that has been nerfed due to how well he performs in the current meta. The champion's health has been reduced, plus he will recover more slowly.

Items and Shop

Recently, Riot Games completely revamped the look of the shop along with its offer. Patch 11.4 adds a few features to make it easier to use. First of all, the overall performance has been improved. Moreover, we can change the size of the shop interface, and the talismans available in the shop are now sorted depending on our current equipment.

As far as specific items are concerned, Guinsoo's Rageblade has been improved. It will enable our characters to attack even more often. Morellonomicon (more power), Mortal Reminder (more damage) or Chempunk Chainsword (more health points) were also reinforced. "Buffs" have also been added to less popular items for mages - Cosmic Drive, Everfrost and Eternal Winter. Only the Moonstone Renewe has been hit harder, as it will provide less healing from now on.

Technical improvements

Of course, we also got some minor bug fixes and various technical changes, the most important of which I think is the update of received healing. It will now be displayed only to the player using it and his allies, and will also be indicated by a different color and effects compared to the regular health bar.
